Brainfood programs provide teens and young adults with real-world employment opportunities in the growing local food sector.

Through Brainfood Homegrown, young adults work in paid positions to operate, manage, and expand a growing snack food business.

Test Kitchen employees support Brainfood Homegrown through a six-week recipe experimentation and innovation program. Teens test the viability of new Homegrown food products by creating, packaging, and selling food items, and gathering customer feedback from paid subscribers.
